I am a Senior Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) and EMDR Therapist with specialist expertise in Long-Term Conditions (LTCs) and Medically Unexplained Symptoms (MUS). I have built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, evidence-based interventions across primary, secondary, and inpatient care, with my work grounded in clinical excellence, compassion, and a commitment to improving outcomes for individuals with complex and enduring mental health needs.
My core areas of expertise include the delivery of CBT and EMDR for individuals with complex and long-term mental health difficulties, working within a trauma-informed, formulation-driven framework. My therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate, and person-centred. I work integratively, drawing on CBT and EMDR and tailoring interventions to each individual’s needs, strengths, and goals. I place strong emphasis on building safe, trusting therapeutic relationships and supporting people to develop practical skills, resilience, and lasting change. My practice is evidence-based and outcomes-focused, supporting people with chronic, complex, and persistent presentations across a range of settings.
Alongside my clinical practice, I work as a Clinical Supervisor and mentor, supporting both trainees and qualified clinicians to develop reflective practice, clinical confidence, and professional growth. I bring a strategic, solution-focused mindset to my work and thrive in multidisciplinary settings, bridging operational demands with compassionate, high-quality psychological care.
I joined Therachange because of its commitment to person-centred and accessible mental health care. The organisation’s values align closely with my own belief that everyone deserves to be truly heard and supported in their journey toward better mental health. Through my work here, I aim to contribute to a service that helps individuals build resilience, foster hope, and find meaningful ways to move forward in life.
