Modern Slavery Statement

Therachange Ltd has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all of our business dealings, ensuring that modern slavery does not take place within Therachange or any part of our supply chains. We also expect the same high standards from all partner organisations and suppliers we work with.

We recognise that publishing a modern slavery statement is good practice, even though Therachange is not currently legally required to do so. By adopting and maintaining this statement, we aim to demonstrate our commitment to ethical business practices and safeguarding human rights.

Organisation Structure and Supply Chain

Therachange Ltd is a UK-based therapy service provider offering assessments, counselling, and evidence-based psychological treatments to individuals, families, and organisations.

Our team consists of therapists, clinicians, and support staff, all of whom are currently based in the UK.

To deliver our services effectively, we rely on a number of suppliers, which include:

  • Clinical practice venues and rented offices
  • Digital platforms, IT support, and secure communications systems
  • Marketing and design agencies
  • Recruitment services for both clinical and administrative roles

We carry out robust pre-employment checks to ensure that all staff have the right to work in the UK. Where we use recruitment agencies, we require them to follow ethical recruitment standards aligned with our own.

Strategy for Addressing the Risk of Modern Slavery

We acknowledge that risks of modern slavery and unethical practices may exist within wider supply chains. To address this, Therachange has policies and procedures in place to reduce risk and strengthen accountability. These include:

  • A procurement policy that incorporates ethical due diligence checks
  • A risk assessment process for both current and new suppliers
  • Contractual expectations that suppliers and partners comply with UK legislation on modern slavery and human rights

Continuous Improvement

Therachange is committed to continuous improvement in this area. We will:

  • Regularly review and strengthen our policies and procedures relating to procurement and supplier management
  • Ensure our safeguarding, recruitment, and whistleblowing policies explicitly reference modern slavery risks
  • Provide updates and training for staff to raise awareness of modern slavery issues and reporting mechanisms
  • Monitor compliance among suppliers, addressing risks where identified, and refusing to work with suppliers who fail to meet our ethical standards

This statement reflects our commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our business operations and supply chains. It will be updated and published annually on our website to ensure transparency and accountability.
