About me

I am a warm, compassionate, and highly experienced Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with over 17 years of clinical practice. I work with adults from all walks of life, supporting them through anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, and significant life transitions. My approach is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and rooted in empathy, helping clients feel safe, seen, and empowered to make meaningful change.

Drawing on a range of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), BrainWorking Recursive Therapy (BWRT), Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Hypnotherapy, and Mindfulness, I tailor therapy to each individual’s needs. This flexible, integrative approach allows me to meet clients wherever they are in their journey—whether they are looking to heal from the past, manage overwhelming emotions, or rediscover a sense of self and purpose.

My core areas of expertise include anxiety and low mood, attachment and developmental trauma, relationship and identity work, addiction recovery, and the emotional challenges that come with loss, ageing, or major life change. I have a grounded, reflective style that fosters insight, resilience, and long-term wellbeing.

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the Open University, a Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (CPCAB), and a Diploma in Hypnotherapy. I have also completed a range of specialist training in BWRT, EFT, attachment and developmental trauma, online and remote therapy, Autism awareness, Mind Calm Meditation, and Nutrition and Mental Health.

I joined Therachange because of its dedication to providing compassionate, person-centred, and evidence-based therapy. The organisation’s values reflect my own belief that healing begins with being understood and accepted. Through my work at Therachange, I aim to help clients build self-awareness, nurture emotional balance, and create positive, lasting change in their lives.

Outside of my professional work, I enjoy mindfulness practice, time in nature, and exploring the connection between mental health and wellbeing through continuous study and reflection.
